Lilac, Maiden of Healing

This is Lilac, one of my favourite characters that i've created. I did this bcos i felt she needed to b done! Also for her, i tried not to use cell-shading, instead tryin a color-changes-based-poster-color-ish kind of painting... errr... altho it was a bit troublesome since i'm COLORBLIND >_<

Lilac the character is kind of my Yamato Nadeshiko (err... Japanese name for an 'ideal woman'). Due to a childhood illness, Lilac no longer has a voice and her left eye is also dead which she tries to cover with her hair bcos it unnerves other ppl (imagine a right eye that is happily wanderin n blinkin while the left one is dilated, stares blankly ahead n blinks occassionally). Though she maybe physically imperfect, her strength of will is incredible and her love for others is boundless; never once bending or breaking when others discriminate her and repayin malice with kindness. She is humble but strong, physically marred but resillient, a pillar of love and strength but unafraid to bend for the ones she love.

I had a lot of questions about the bright yellow-blue band around her shoulders so i'l clarify it here. Lilac is a member of the Circle of Healing; think of it as the Red Cross in my fantasy world. As a Circle Healer, her main duty is to heal those she can, regardless of nationality of faith (though triage is allowed in cases where the wounded are evil b******s). The bright yellow-blue circle makes sure those who need her help have no trouble findin her, even in battlefields (in battles, it also helps ensure the neutral healers are not targetted). Because Circle Healers are such saintly people, all the churches and civilized governments have decreed that a Circle Healer may not be harmed or impersonated - under penalty of death. Circle Healers are carefully selected and monitored to ensure their immunity is not abused.
